The customer, a paints producer, with a space extremely limited as regards width, needed to process their products at +120°c, in an ATEX classified zone.
The AMARC team designed a drum heating cabinet, using the space vertically and designing a cabinet on three levels.
Instead of providing a single door, two doors were provided to limit dispersal in the opening and closing phase.
A removable tank was provided for loading by means of a forklift truck at the base of the cabinet.
The control panel was installed in a non classified zone.
The customer’s extraction system was connected to the machine and interlocked with the control panel of the cabinet.
For transport, unloading and positioning operations, eyebolts were provided for the crane on the front walls of the upn beams on the back to be able to transport the cabinet on the back (these were also used for fixing the cabinet to the wall).
